I'm really pleased with this weeks shopping excursions. I had lots of fun thrifting with my SIL yesterday in SLC and found a funky light fixture to go in the dining area . It's vintage and it's so cute.
I just need to get the wallpaper...
and the chairs.I can't wait to show you all the pictures of our kitchen revamp. Coming soon!
P.S. I was at the Gateway yesterday and I stopped in
Z Gallerie. Oh my heck! They have the greatest green stuff right now. It took so much self control for me to walk out of that store without buying at least one thing. Whew, when I get some more cash that's the first place I'm going.

I love to shop and I love deals even more. Noticed you didn't put the price of counter tops on there. :) Can't wait to see the finished project.
Well I would have posted the sf price of the counter tops but I don't know the total cost yet so I thought I would wait. We picked out a granite slab that was on sale for $6.40/sf. The slab has to be sent to a fabricator to be cut and then to Vernal to the guy that we are buying it from...but I still think we will get a pretty great deal.
The back splash is just a glossy white subway tile. It's relatively cheap as well.
I'm getting pretty excited. It's all starting to come together. HOORAY!
