Fast Fix Friday: Dana's One Pan Pork Chops & Gravy

I'm the type of person that likes my gravy served in a pitcher because I'm gonna be dousing my food with it if it's available. That's why I love this recipe because the gravy is one of the main parts of this dish. Mmmm gravy....me likey. Anyway I got it from my mother-in-law,  bless that sweet woman.

Dana's One-Pan Pork Chops & Gravy

4 pork chops
1 can cream of mushroom soup (2 for me)
1/2 can of water, milk or half & half
4 potatoes, peeled and quartered
fresh mushrooms, optional

Brown pork chops in large frying pan. Put potatoes on top.  Pour over soup and water mixed together.  Cover pan and simmer until pork chops are tender.  About 1 hour.

Another good one. I am always looking for a new way to do pork chops. Also I need your brown sugar recipe. Is it just brown sugar and cream?
